ISO-9300 defines a standardized framework for low carbon, local production and distribution of products from locally sourced materials using designs and custom compenents licensed from 3rd party manufacturers. Similar to the beverage industry’s model of distributing bulk/concentrated product to local bottlers for mixing, packaging and distribution, ISO-9300 compliant products have their technical components produced centrally and then distributed to local manufacturers for housing production, assembly, packaging and distribution.
